Another great blogger here today, Michelle!
Introduce yourself – in 3-5 sentences share: Your name, about your family, where you blog, your niche/favorite topics to write about etc.
I’m Michelle, I’m the mom of 2 sweet girls & one tall husband. Yes. That’s a lot of estrogen in our house! I enjoy blogging at Trust Me, I’m a Mom where I write about ways to include your kids in service, at home speech therapy tips, crafts & other mommy things! I love writing about the different service project ideas the most because I include my oldest daughter in them & I love having an excuse to serve and spend more time with her!
What is your Blogging Inspiration?
I always wanted to include my kids in service… even before kids were in the picture. Once I had kids, though, I didn’t know where to start. I finally made it a priority & sat down to brainstorm ideas one day. Once I started, I was surprised at how they just kept coming. The hardest part for me was coming up with the ideas, and I realized that I might not be the only mom in this situation. Fast forward a few months, my husband suggested to me that I should start a blog (other than my personal blog). And there it was. I put two & two together and that equaled Trust Me, I’m a Mom. The bottom line, though, is that I do it because I love having the extra motivation to serve.
Share a link to your favorite post you’ve ever written. Why is it your favorite?
My favorite post so far is probably What My Toddler Taught Me About Serving Others. I loved writing this post because it really was a touching experience for me. I don’t think I’ll ever forget it & it for sure has taught me to be more selfless in everything I do. I love learning things from my kids & I can’t wait until they teach me again!
Do you have any pieces of advice for other bloggers?
Let’s be honest here… I’m a pretty new blogger, so what would I have to offer those who have been at it for years? Well, it might not seem like much, but my trick for not running out of ideas (nor will I for at least a year) is I have the Google Drive App on my phone & whenever I have an idea for the blog I pull up the app and quickly write it down. Because of this, I have a giant list of ideas (too many ideas to be honest). So when I finish one post, I look at my list & decide what sounds like the most fun to do next.

I’ve never heard of the google app drive. I’ll have to look into that! 🙂
