Where to find sponsored post opportunities and how to get more of them — these are two things that are brought up a LOT.
Sometimes, especially when you are starting out it can feel like every one else is getting so many more opportunities! For some reason, sponsored posts take a little while to get going. I have no idea why this is, but I’ve seen it happen so many times that there must be something to it. If you find yourself asking why am I not getting sponsored posts, we are here to help!
The first thing to do is be with a lot of companies that connect bloggers with brands. These are a fantastic way to start out with sponsored posts and they bring Becky and I a lot of our income each month. Favorites that we have each worked with and enjoyed are as follows (some referral links here)
- Social Spark
- Izea
- Tap Influence
- Linqia
- Sverve
- Pollinate
- Social Fabric
- Sway group
- Clever Girls
- Moms Affiliate
- Cooperatize
Yes, this is a lot, so maybe try signing up for one or two a week. Most of them will email you when they have a campaign available for you, but some you have to check (social spark, izea, sverve mainly).
The thing is we’ve worked with all of these companies, but we don’t work with all of them every month. Being involved with several sites like this helps you continue getting sponsored posts, because when one site doesn’t have anything to offer, another site will.
how to apply – Each of these sites work differnetly. We did a tutorial for izea here, but the others are more straight forward (If you have problems ask in the facebook group and we’ll help you out!)
