Yesterday we wrapped up our first Blog Retreat. It was an amazing time of collaboration, teaching and implementation!
We loved every moment talking with each of you that attended and helping you learn how to take your blogs to the next level.

We covered everything from affiliate marketing, to writing tone, to the technical side of blogging, writing ebooks, creating products and so much more.
In fact, so many amazing questions were brought up and answered, we decided we needed to do a little something special for our attendees AND those of you who wished you could have made it.
One of the biggest things we talked about was reaching out to brands directly to for ambassadorships and simply to be paid for posting.
Many people asked what it is we emailed to brands and while that’s not something we want live on the internet (wouldn’t that be awkward if a brand read it posted here?) We would love to share that information with you.
Later this week, we are going to be sending out some sample drafts in our newsletter of what we send to brands AND how we negotiate if someone sends us an offer that isn’t QUITE in our price range.

I had an absolute blast this weekend and learned so much… It’s hard to drive home because of all the ideas that keep popping into my head! Don’t worry I’ve asked Siri to text them all to the hubby so they’re written down for later… He’s going to be so confused when he looks at his phone!
