You may be wondering how to write a sponsored blog post on your blog, I am sharing tips for writing a great sponsored post today. I am going to share some tips to help keep you write a great sponsored post, and how to keep your sponsors coming back time and time again.
There are several companies that will pay you to share their content. If you sign up with a company, like Izea, they will have other companies contact them and then they will contact you to write a post. This is, by far, my best means of income. You can make between $5 and $800 per post!
Another great one (that even new or smaller bloggers can use) is Sverve. You will click on Campaigns.
The sponsors are trusting you to put your best foot forward, and if you want to get sponsored posts again, you need to do this. Make it your best work!
They no longer find the need to pay for ads on the TV when they have you, a blogger, that is able to reach so many people through your page.
Here are my tips:
1- Find a way to make it work. I recently was asked to do a post about tires. My blog is mostly about raising kids and keeping the home running smoothly, so I spun this post to make it about being prepared for a flat tire when you have kids with you. 1- Keep it natural
Try not to make it seem too much like you are selling a product to them. I will write a normal post and just throw in the product information, as naturally as possible. I don’t want it sound like a commercial.
2- Keep it similar in style to your other posts
Example: If I am sharing a recipe, I try to make it as normal as possible. Yes, these ingredients are great & you should try this product that I am including in this recipe.
3- Don’t take too long to publish it
The companies want you to do this as quickly and efficiently as possible. Get it done before or on the date that it is due.
4- Try to do your very best work
Make it great and they will call you again and again. I now have certain people that will contact me personally to write a post for various companies.
5- Add great pictures that are pin-worthy
I usually go back in and add a great pin-worthy picture. Also- you maybe have to go back in to set a featured image so that the image shows up by your excerpt on your home page.
6- Share, share & share again. The more people that read your sponsored posts, the more likely you are to have the sponsors come back again to as you to do more work.
This is a great way to monetize your blog, so give it the effort that it deserves.
One last thing- I am often asked: “What if you don’t agree with the product?” My answer: Kindly decline, but tell them that you would be happy to help them in the future.

These are great tips! I think the best one is to make it natural. Don’t try to write something that doesn’t even remotely fit your style. Anything can be spun into something unique to you!

Thanks for suggestion Sverve. I’m trying it out. Though it looks like you might need to spend a lot of time there getting recommended in order to get up scores high enough. I’d rather spend my time outside of the site, influencing people already in my networks.
