Most of you had told me that you want to learn how to monetize your blog. I am currently making more with my blog than I made working and you can do the same thing!
Last week, I shared how to make money with Linqia. Today I want to share how to make money with sverve
Sverve is probably the easiest, fastest form of monetization for your blog. I am going to include a few screenshots to help you with these (easy) steps to applying for a job with Sverve.
FIRST, You are going to go into CAMPAIGNS:
You can scroll through and see the campaigns (AKA: available jobs).
To see how much they pay and what they entail, click on View More:
When you look at the details, decide if it is worth it to you. I have had jobs that have paid $30 and jobs that have paid $300, both from Sverve. You need to decide how much your time is worth. I accept a lower-paying job if I am passionate about the post (is it helpful to someone else?)
Some of the jobs will ask you how much you want for it- don’t be afraid to ask. The worst that they can say is “No.”
You can see below what it looks like if you apply (yellow) and if you are engaged or hired (orange.)
Once you write the post, you will go back in and click on the button at the top that says “SUBMIT YOUR WORK”
They normally pay you within a few days, which is wonderful!
A few tips to remember when you are applying for a campaign:
– Be honest.
– Tell them why you are so amazing! Tell them why it would benefit them to hire me (in the nicest, “non-braggy” way!) – Sell yourself! You really have to sell yourself in the blogging world because you are working for you. Show them your strengths! You are amazing, so let them see that! You are your own voice and if you don’t sell yourself… no one else is going to.
Good luck!!
PS- If you are interested in making your blog even better (even though I’m sure its already fantastic), Paula and I are now offering a “Your Best Blog” service. Check it out here!
