Here are 5 things you CAN NOT FORGET to take to a blog conference

1- PHONE charger!
You will be gathering phone numbers, taking pictures, tweeting out cute messages from the conference… all things that will eat up your battery.  Be sure to take your portable charger.

2- Business Cards
I can’t tell you how many times I have forgotten to take business cards.   Now I keep a few in my purse, for these “just in case” moments when I forget.   On a rare occasion when I have none, I’ll just snap a picture of me & the person I am meeting and I will email them right away with that picture & a note that says something like “Hey!  Great meeting you today!  I can’t wait to connect.  I know that my readers would love your brand!”

3- A ‘statement’ about who you are….
You will get this a lot “So, what is your blog about?”   What are you going to say?

4- Back up battery for your phone!
You can find a bunch on Amazon.

5- A notebook or your laptop to keep notes!
(I would bring several pens & a highlighter if I brought a notebook.  I did this last time and I was able to quickly reference things because I used the highlighter on important pages.)
OR… just use your laptop!

6-  A large tote to carry everything!
I usually take a tote so I can carry my laptop, notebook & my purse in it.
